Cortijo El Esparragal

History and style

A former cortijo of Roman origin with a main building from 1615, which was a Hieronymite monastery until the 19th century, 15 minutes from Seville (Gerena).

It is part of an estate of more than 2,700 hectares given over to olive groves, hunting and dehesa.

It has 22 rooms, gardens of more than 5,000 m², an outdoor pool and a chapel run by the Hermandad de la Encarnación de Gerena, licensed for religious ceremonies.
